About Mythos Kosmos
Mythos Kosmos is an interactive guide to the interconnected world of Greek mythology.
What is Mythos Kosmos?
Greek mythology is not a collection of isolated stories. Gods, Titans, heroes, monsters, nymphs and mortal families form a vast network of relationships stretching from the creation of the cosmos to the end of the Heroic Age.
Mythos Kosmos was created to make that network easier to explore. Visitors can move through an interactive genealogy, browse individual mythological figures, and follow the stories in which those figures appear.
How to explore
Start with Chaos in the family tree, search for a particular figure, or read the mythology chronologically through the Myths section.
Figure pages connect genealogy with stories, while myth pages connect the stories back to their principal characters.
An evolving reference
Mythos Kosmos will continue to grow as additional ancient sources, alternative traditions, relationships and stories are documented.
